Great....time to pull out the wallet
So a few days ago I was driving home from a friends house and was stopped at a red light when I notice my truck starting to idle very low. I give it a little gas to keep it running and just as I do this is jumps formard a few feet then dies. I dont have an automatic so hitting the gas should not have made this happen. It became almost impossible to drive and i barley made it home. Yesterday I took it to the dealership and told them what happened and got a call a few hours later saying that something was wrong with my transmission but they wont know for sure till the transmission guy comes in tomorrow(today).....great....so today I get a call and they said they think its where the clutch meets the transmission, but they are not positive. If it is that it will be 1000 to fix. and if it is not that they have to drop the whole transmission to find out whats wrong. So right now I'm looking at at least a grand to fix this. Great!
thats my rant....sorry its so long.

That would be my guess too, mine went out at 50k and I had a friend do it in his shop while I was out of town mine went out two days before I went on vacation. I hope your luck gets better though and your wallet doesn't hurt to bad

He says he has an automatic so I don't believe it is the slave cylinder since as far as I know auto's don't have a slave cylinder.
I am new to auto Ranger though.
George
P.S. Flame me now I have on asbestos underwear.
