yes its the right one

They only problem is that its a limited slip, not a locker.

limited slip-when one tire slips the other tire will start to grip (one wheel wonder)<~ i think thats correct
locker- both tires spin at the same time

Limited slip also handles way better on the street--behaves more like an open diff. That's probably why Ford and no other truck manufacturer offer a truck with a locker. But, of course, a locker usually has more dependable traction--though good LS like the detroit truetrac have virtually the same traction, handle better, and are made to fit your 7.5. It doesn't have clutches to wear out like a Ford LS either.

if i were u i'd just swap out that 7.5 axle for a 8.8 with 4.10/LS... would prolly be cheaper

if u swaped it out, i believe the only thing the warranty wouldnt cover... would be the "new" axle...and at that i highly doubt they'd even notice it, only if it had disc brakes, they'd prolly think sumthin was up
