Hub/Wheel Bearing Question

i have a 1994 ranger 4x4 4.0 and i changed the rims last night on them and noticed my front wheels have a play when i rock it 12oclock to 6oclock.. everything else is tight and nothing else moves but the hub... ive searched and it could be wheel bearing or the whole hub... just wanted to know the difference between the two problems or are they the same..?

it's pretty much the same thing, when you buy a new hub it has the bearings on it already

if you get new wheel bearing it will come with the hub attached to the bearing, you can't get just the bearing or just the hub.so if you go to the parts store and say you need new wheel bearings, you'll get a hub assembly which has both

94s do not have unit bearings, so if you just picked up what was posted you will be going back.

You have "real" bearings that can be replaced, not unitized hubs...totally different process.
