hubs...

if i put an aussie locker in will these work in my truck?

no because they will not fit on your truck period with the live axle....

I don't believe you can get manual hubs for your truck since its a live axle.

lol thats funny! muffler bearings or blinker fluid. i had a guy come in the shop one day asking for blinker fluid bc one was empty and the other was only 1/2 full..

Not completely true.

He can swap the wheel bearings and half shafts to run a PVH setup.

If you can go from PVH to live axle, then you can go live axle to PVH.


Its going to cost about the same 600 ish for new parts PLUS the AVM's.

ok my turn, will they work on my 98 4x4? my 4 wheel drive stopped working a couple weeks ago and everyone i've talked to says the problem is my pulse vacuum hubs, one guy showed me a how to for locking them alltogether, but i think it would be better to switch to manual locking hubs, also does warn make manual hubs for my truck?

im NOT switching to pvh. im sticking with my live axle. but my question is....if i put the locker in there.....what will my street driving be like?

should still be about the same.....you will just hear a clicking when going around corners...

yea i was told that it would click like that. thats why i needed hubs. am i correct in saying thats the purpose of the hubs?

no the purpose of the hubs would be to unlock the axle.....you don't need hubs....there are plenty of members who are running lockers in their live axle...

sweet....then since i dont have to buy hubs....can anyone recommend a good locker? the aussie that matt showed me is a good price. what is the top of the line locker and on down?
