I just wanted to makes sure that the '01 spindles I am going to buy are going to go on ok on my '99. Also wanted to make sure the calipers from the '01 will hook up to my soft lines on the truck. I know the '01+ Ranger brakes are larger that the '98-'00 ones but I thought that you can swap all of the brake hardware over. I planned on just swapping out the spindles on both sides. I just wanted to make sure I was right before I make the purchase.

you actually want 03 and up Knuckles and 12in rotors. I know there is also a seal on the back of the 98-00 knuckles as well you will have to add.. the calipers should be the same.

 

Are you talking 4x4 though? I am swapping the spindles so I wouldn't think I would have to worry about any seals.

 

you wont have to worry about any seals except the seal on the inner bearing. the spindles will work fine with your 98-00 calipers. you will need the correct rotors though

 

I planned on swapping spindles, rotors and calipers from the 01 since my drivers side spindle is destroyed and my caliper got ripped off in the accident

 

If you are already doing all of it do this.
