Trany Problems! :(

Hello all, need some help here
I have a 04 ranger edge auto. and I was driving home from work tonight and my tranny made an odd sound when shifting, then my Overdrive (O/D Off) light started flashing, I took some side roads home for about a mile at 10 MPH and every time id try to ease on the gas it would rev high and pop. am i screwed? how much? whats up?

THanks!!

-Wes

That same thing happened to me. I ended up replacing the tranny. Take it in asap before something drastic happens.

Off topic, but I'm glad this thread wasn't about Eddie Murphy. :)
