4:10's and 33?

Would 4:10's and 33's be a sufficient combo? If not what do you reccomend?

Jared if you already have 4.10 i dont think its worth the money to swap to 4.30s (use it on a better mod)

BUT i you have 3.73/other then id swap in 4.30s

I,v got 4:10's so I guess Ill keep the and buy a tuner or sumthing. This summer I might get a Bl and some 35's so Im guessing I should wait till I know for sure till I regear.

yeah if you get 35s then you'll definitely need 4.30s or more

and a tuner will be a damn good use of that 400bucks

I'm not even sure that you could find 4.30 gears for an 8.8. I think you'd be better off with atleast 4.56 though.

most people dont know theres a 4.30, because they dont make one for the front. so only 2wds can benefit.

i got 4.30's too . they make them for the 8.8 but not the 7.5 and also not for the front. 4.30's and the stock 235/75/15's was an awesome setup for smoke shows . hell, it still is with the 32's :)

33's and 4.10's are good in a 4.0 but a 3.0 with a tuner should be okay as well. I am going with 4.56 33's and my 4.0. SO really it depends on what your usage is and what you are looking for.

for the 3.0L i'd go with 4.56 gears. I have 31's and 4.10's now and its not bad but going from 3.73's I can feel the difference.

my only regret from getting the 4.30's is not going with 4.56's :(. when i got the gears, i had no plans on going larger than stock tires, lol. then i went to 32's, and now the plan is 35's.....but that will be with an explorer axle and 5.13's

33''s need 4:56s. They will make up for the tall tire, and give it a little more pep for the extra weight. 33''s will make your yellow truck look AWESOME btw.

My truck pulls my 14' boat fine with 33's and 4.10's. People, if you give it gas it'll go. It's not that big of a dog. I'm happy with the pickup I get after about 2,000 rpm's when I romp on it. I say 4.10's and 33's are fine, granted if you do go bigger than 33's you will need the 4.56's.

I had 33's and 4.10's w/ my 3.0 and I had no problem moving. Plus I had intake, exhaust, programmer, modified maf, pulleys and e-fans.

Nah man, I got a little 3.0 too. Granted some people say that it'd be too slow or too much of a dog, but I'm happy with it when I tow.

I know the difference between 3.73 and 4.10 with just 31" tires. It would be better to regear with a little bit bigger, but you know you can live with it.
