Here is what happens when you have large tires and drive on them with only 5 psi
I drove it for 3 weeks w/o checking tire pressure!..these tires dont look low on air when they are flat..
It took me a week to get the right part...7.5 inch rear ends have 2 different cross pins!...that sux!!
Now I'm finally back on the road!

Be glad it didn't happen like my 84 Jimmy. I was heading down the highway at about 40mph in the snow and heard a bang. By the time I could pull over, the axles were 18 inches out of the tubes because when the pin failed, it tried to remove itself from the carrier, hit the housing and sheared the pin making room for the axles to move around and the C clips to fall off. Not a fun experience. That was when I installed the lockrite and never had rear differential problems again.
