Front driveshaft help.

Will a superlift front driveshaft work on a non-suspension lifted truck? From my understanding, the double cardan U-joint style needs a greater angle to operate, anyone have a superlift shaft on a stock suspension truck?

why would you want to do that?

run another CV style shaft.

I'm on my 4th re-built cv shaft. my family owns an auto parts store so I waranty them for free, im just sick of replacing them all the time. i can get a brand new superlift shaft for like $180 from my wharehouse. A new OEM ford shaft is like $300 or something my cost.

go to the junk yard and get one, i mean what are you doing to it to make it break? you really should not have issues with it.

maybe its something else.

you will have issues with the superlift shaft too, maybe try running an older tcase and get the shaft from that.

but to answer your question it should fit and work fine.

we deal with a company called A1 Cardone and they are having a problem with all there front driveshafts, the boots rip in 3000 miles or less on there front drivesfat then the cv wears out do to lack of grease. I have plans to suspension lift the truck sometime, so i'd need the shaft anyway. The truck does not see offroad use much, if at all. I have a live axle so the shaft is always spinning and it just destroys the boot.

Yes it will fit. Kevooo runs it on his truck no problem. It's much nicer than stock.
