Acceleration/deceleration driveline bump.

Did the slip-yolk, grease thing a few months back and of course, the bump is back. Thinking of doing the Zerk, grease fitting mod to the slip-yolk. anyone here done it? anything to look out for during the mod.
Thanks .

Check trans mount and center bearing mount if extended cab and 2 piece driveshaft.

did you use the grease thats included in the TSB for ranger slip bump? and did you clean all the old grease out and NOT use brakleen or solvent?

Cleaned out all the old grease, didn't use brake cleaner, used Valvoline full-synthetic grease.

the grease that comes in the kit is pretty slick sticky stuff that works well. its thicker than marine grease.

If a grease fitting is installed, the rest of the driveshaft needs to be blocked off from the grease. The blue plug in the aluminum shaft wont stop the grease from going into the driveshaft
