ISO Information For 4R44E to 5R44E Swap
 

Good afternoon . New here so let me know if I posted this in the wrong place. I have a 2000 2x4 3.0 ford ranger with a failing 4R44E and I have a 2003 ford ranger 2x4 3.0 ranger with a good 5R44E and a wrecked front end . Has anyone ever swapped these transmissions? I’m assuming I’ll have to carry over the computer and the harness which I’m fine with. Any information would be greatly appreciated as I don’t have the money for a rebuild at the moment . I know this job will be more difficult than a simple swap .
