Just put on new brakes

Ok, so my 02 XLT FX4 was grinding every time I hit the brake pedal so, no brainer, replace the pads and rotors.

So I did that, and the brakes now work 100% better, BUT....

I AM ABSOLUTELY APPALLED AT THE PRICE OF BRAKE PADS/ROTORS!!@$#

It cost me $150 all together at Advance Auto

What's next, $300 for a friggin lugnut?

yeah i might be needing some new rotors pretty soon and they are a bit pricy. for what they cost i might go with some aftermarket slotted rotors and some nice EBC pads.

should just spend a little extra and upgrade. Whenever I have something go out I try to replace it with something better because the same old stock crap isn't much cheaper.
