Icon5 snapped piece... Phease help!!!

Hi, i have a 93 4wd 2.3 5-speed 108" WB, the piece between the transmission and the transfer case is snapped and the t-case is pulled back about an inch or two. Now, the t-case is not the right one (has the electric t-case, truck still has the "in cab" lever). Can i pull the driveshaft and the tail on the end of the tranny from a 108" WB, 2WD, 2.3, 5-speed and swap them out? (i know i would also be scrapping the front driveshaft and the T-case.)

think the trans has to be disassembled in order to change tails.

No, the truck originally had a manual T-case. Some asshat stuffed an electric one in its place.(only bolted on, no wires hooked up)

you need to find a 4 wheel drive trans and use that tail shaft. It also has to be off a 5 speed. Swapping a tail shaft housing is simple so long as you arent trying to swap the tail shaft it self

the weird part though.I tried to pull the transfer case back up to the transmission with a come-along and it won't budge, there is still an inch gap between the two. Could the slip yoke in the drive shafts be froze up? this is my first 4WD so I am not familiar with the way it is set up.

the part that is broken is what is bolted on directly behind the shifter stub.(the flange on the T-case end)
