I have the stock limited slip in my 03 2wd.
The only time I really dislike it is in snow. If I get on the throttle hard enough to break traction , the tail end has a bad tendency to kick out to one side .Usually it follows the crown of the road and slides to the right. But going around a left turn with the road slightly banked it will slide left. Not good with oncoming traffic. With an open diff I never had that issue. |
the only con is if you have a manual transmission, it will engage rougher and at odder times as well as when you want it to. if its for street only a lsd is a better choice over a locker but nothings as cheap to install as the lockright

then its probably not a bad choice, a 2wd with a locker is pretty capable, def not a 4x4 at the times when only 4x4 will do, but still worlds apart from an open 2wd
