Rear driveshaft quick help!

If i were to remove the driveshaft will the yoke coming out of the tranny stay there or does that slide out like a 2wd would?

2wd flange unbolts from the diff flange and the slip yoke slides out of the trans.

4wd flanges unbolt at both ends and the driveshaft can be removed without disturbing the transfer case flange.
