Howdy! As a new ranger owner I always have questions so here we go.

As im reversing I have noticed a distinct whine that goes away right as you shift into drive, any ideas? Its not a harsh sound its just a whine.

Also unrelated to the whine, on cold starts ive noticed a thump on the passenger side of the car, closer towards the glovebox, is this a normal occurance?
