dana 30 SAS on my 4bt ranger
I have a 1995 ext stx Ford ranger, was a 4.0, I did a complete frame off restoration and did a 4bt Cummins swap on it and have been running it for around 6 months on the now and has been going pretty smoothly, but I destroyed my front axle an its time for a new one and I got a deal on a 3.73 high pinion Dana 30, I know its not the strongest axle, but its more of my daily driver then a woods rig so I think itll be ok, I just have questions about the swap an if anyone on here has done it, anything you would recommend would be great, iv been looking into a 3 point control arm system that I like. I have a 4 inch rc lift an 3 inch body an I like the height, its on 33s, should I try to use my ranger coils? Or jeep one ? And good info is good thanks ill post pictures of the truck if anyone wants

I don't know much of anything about SAS.. but you might be able to find some stuff on it here: Solid Axle Swaps - Ranger-Forums - The Ultimate Ford Ranger Resource
Plenty of people have run Dana 30's.. usually ending up upgrading eventually, but if you aren't wheeling it hard you'll be fine.
