Transmission drip.

Hello all. I'm new here and I'd appreciate some help. I have a 2011 Ranger 4x2 2.3 with a standard trans and 81,000 miles. The trans is leaking from the top at back. I know about the three rubber plugs. I have checked them and they seem fine. The oil was on top of that round plate that bolts with three hex bolts. The thing is last September I went on a pretty rough road trip and the whole truck got shook good. I noticed oil coming out the top. I was thinking some oil may have sloshed out the little vent hole on that plate. Was not sure so I just replaced it. No oil. Now it's dripping again. There are no rips in the rubber. I have not changed the oil since new in 2011. Could the oil be getting thin and coming out the top?? Thanks for any advice.
Jason
