Manual to Automatic?

I have a 96 B3000 that I am changing motor and manual trasmission. Installing both out of a 99 Ranger with automatic transmission. Has anyone had any luck doing so?

Never swaped in a Ranger but Jeeps yes. For the Ranger you will need the steering column, ecu, wiring harness, and all the related electrical components for engine/tranny management. Or it wont shift, or run corectly because of 98+ security systems and engine management.

The complete wiring harness or just the one that plugs into the ecu?

The easiest thing to to is buy a parts truck. That will make everything sooo much simpler

I have the parts truck. Can list all the parts I will need off of the parts truck.
