I though the fx4's had a manual t case already? Was it only some?

02-03 FX4's offered a manual t-case but were limited. electric t-cases were more dominant in those years. i can save you a headach by telling you parts for the bw1354m via dealer is a pain to get. if i were you i would buy the linkage NOW and search for the bw1354m. when you find it..... ****** it.

as another insight, you may run into a problem with the G.E.M. as it wont recognize the 4wd being engauged after said swap. im not sure how big of a roll the G.E.M. plays in the t-case but i know it must be tied into it considering it lights up the "4X4/4X4 LOW" on your gauge cluster.

i did the swap read my thread.. and i may have a manual tcase for sale shortly not sure yet.

hey man just got off the phone with a kid i emailed last night. he said he had a problems with it last night he cant get it disengage out of 4wd so you may get a tcase for super cheap that just needs a rebuld.but im waiting on him to call me and tell me whats wrong

Thats awesome thanks man. So just to double check is the link below the right linkage that i need. And i called the steeler-ship this afternoon and asked about buying just the linkage. They said that it was around 450 for just the linkage. Talk about highway robbery.

wrong they came with 1354s from the factory mine has one. they came with the electronic and manual one in 1990. and they came behind the 2.3, 2.9, and 4.0

wrong the 90 bII only came with an electric 1354.


Bronco II Cases:
BW1350 1984-1989 W/external front yoke w/bolt on shift linkage (manual shift)
1984-1990 W/o external front yoke (manual shift) one piece shift linkage
1986-1990 W/o external front yoke (electric shift)
1987-1989 W/external front yoke (manual shift)
1987-1989 W/external front yoke (electric shift)
BW1354 1990 (Electric shift) with speedo hole, with sensor hole fixed front output yoke
