Hey guys have a 2000 with the 3.0l and found a mazda b3000 1994 if it is a 3.0l will the transmission work in my truck

 

M5OD-R1 manual transmission was used in the B-series trucks and Ranger from 1990
And B3000 is a 3.0l Vulcan engine same as the one used in 3.0l Rangers so yes it will work fine

Check the 3 rubber plugs at the top rear of trans they often got hard and brittle and would leak trans fluid.

M5OD-R1 uses ATF, yes automatic transmission fluid in a manual trans, Mercon V
It holds 2.8 quarts of ATF if dry

The Reverse light wire connector might be different, so may need to swap that

 

Could also upgrade to the newer -HD transmission it will also bolt up to your truck. It has bolt holes for newer and older vehicles.
