could be any # of things......

how does your bearings look? how bout the ring and pinion gears?

i cant see in the differential its behind this crossmember looking thingy i stuck my finger in to check the fluid and i had small shavings on my finger

then i would say you need to pull the diff and see what the problem is........and at least flush the fluid...

you need to pull the whole front diff.

where did you stick your finger in at? the fill hole? or did you get the cover loose?

where you fill it up at..

doesnt the drain plug have a magnet on it?

how big of shavings?
