WHAT DO YOU GUYS USE?

when i was changing the trans. fluid in my truck the other day, i noticed a grease fitting on the front of the driveshaft. I was wondering if you all think i could use a marine grade grease to grease the fitting? The reason i ask is b/c i bought a tube of marine grease for my boat trailer not too long ago and was thinking about using it on the truck. Also, are there any other grease fittings on it anywhere?

I wouldn’t but you can if it says high temp !
Wheel Bearing Grease needs to be able to stay in place when the bearings heat up and be able to handle the extra pressure in the wheel bearing area.

I use Morleys RED Waterproof Silicone Grease for all driveshafts, bearings and bushings. great stuff. A little higher in cost than standard grease but I think it is worth it.

I would say if thats all you have slap it in there. Considering 99.9999% of people don't grease their cars at all, that putting any grease in has to be better than no grease.
