Need Help! Steering wheel noise!

Here's my problem. When I'm going slow (0.5-10 mph) and have the wheel turned even a little bit, I hear a clunking noise every couple of seconds that vibrates through the steering wheel. If I'm going much faster than that, there is no noise. It also makes noise when I'm just about to stop and just starting from a stop. I've done some searches but nothing seems to match up with this. Any ideas?

Truck has 72,000 miles. Could it be bad ball-joints?

Sounds like something is binding/unbinding. Is it like a popping noise?

Yeah, sorta like a popping noise. I just don't want to bring it into someplace and have them look around and replace a bunch of junk that doesn't need to be replaced.
