8" lift.....and more!

This is a teaser thread and only a teaser thread. If this were a real thread, I would have posted pictures of these parts installed on my truck (give me a few weeks)

This is 1 of the many projects on-going with my truck......

got the springs for: FREE
got the radius arms for: little to nothing compared to what they cost new
got the Superlift Superunner steering for: see radius arm price

I will get some pictures of the Superunner steering setup tomorrow.......here is what it looks like:

it replaces the junky "Y" tie rod setup with a stronger, better angled "K" setup....and it is A LOT more stable, so i might not need a steering stabilizer to mask the bump steer....

i am going to take the Skyjacker brackets and paint them black.......can't really do that with the springs, since they have that plastic coating on there....

or my next step is SAS, but that will be AWHILE! Laura is pissed that i am putting on the 8" lift because she has a hard time getting in now......it is funny seeing her get in before and after chruch in her dresses or dress pants (you know how women wear their pants now-a-days.) but i do love to help

yes i do!

i don't want to go any higher after i put the 8" lift on......UNLESS i do a SAS, which i doubt i do for a really long time.....and then i would only want to run 38x15.50x15's......

well luckly and hopefull from now on mine isn't a DD (knocks really hard on wooden desk top!) anymore..........because the 38's i want to run are EXPENSIVE! my brother paid $1300 for 4 of them a year and a half ago....and i need 5 then 5 new 15x12 wheels to have the 5x5.5 lug pattern! that will be a while!

Thats rediculous lol. I wish there was a taller suspension kit out there for my Ranger without having to go RCD. Shoot, I can barely get 7 inches of total lift out of the SL and body lift if I wanted :(
