D-60 Q's

So i went to the local junk yard today just to get some bolts for my t-case and on the way out i decided to look through their axles already pulled otu and found to d-60's the one is out of an 89 f-350 with 3.55 gears and SRW the other is a dually axle with 4.10 gears.
They said $500-$550 bucks per axle sounds like a good deal to me what do you guys think?
If i were to buy one i would probably get the SRW axle as it looks in much better condidion is there any good/bad things about this year axle? or is it the same as the rest off the HP KP 60's ?
Thanks

well you would have a heck of a time mounting a radius arm to that drivers side but other than that its a good axle.

Single Rear Wheel.

Get the SRW, not the DRW. You have to convert the DRM hub to the SRW unless you want your wheels to stick out. My D60 came from the same setup you are looking at, it had dualies but the front had the SRW hub....weird, so it may not even be an issue in your case.
