One Piece Driveshaft Price?

I have a 96 ext. cab 4wd Ranger, and wanted to know what kind of prices I should expect from a junk yard for a 98-up one-piece shaft?

I paid $80, a friend just paid $100 at the same yard (oh well...). I've seen them for more.

Be very carefull about getting the right length one piece driveshaft. If it is to long it will bottom out in the tranny and shove the engine forward everytime it bottoms out. This will cause damage to the tranny and engine and the mounts for both. Also, if the shaft is not long enough and the trk clears the ground leaving the wheels hanging the air the shaft could come out or or get jamed in the end of the tranny.

I was qouted $100, so that sounds in line with what others are paying.
