CV axles, front diff.

I have a problem. When I am driving I have this loud roar and lots of vibration coming from my front. But when I put it in 4 wheel drive all of it goes away. What could be the problem? What is the most movement you can have in your CV axles. Bearings & hubs are new. thanks.

are you lifted at all? could possibly a driveshaft if you are lifted. BUT...the fact that it goes away after you engage 4wd is weird...

yea not too long ago. But they are the same size as the stock tires were. That shouldn't make a differance should it?

If they are a different tire......that could cause new vibrations slowing down and turning. My MT/R's are quiet compaired to Hankook's on Trevor's truck....same size tires...his howl like a mother. That could be adding to your noise.
