Rear disc ?
Would these work on a 28 spline 8.8 or only the 31 spline version?

Notice that this auction is for the adapter brackets only. You'd also need the hard-to-find Eldorado calipers ($150~300 pr), Lincoln/Mustang SVO rotors ($50~100/pr?), brake hoses ($40~80?) and e-brake cable adapters. The hole in the center of the Lincoln rotors is a little too small for late Ranger axle flanges and would need to be opened up slightly.

The Explorer axle is another possibility but it is not a bolt on. It needs flipped perches and shock brackets welded on with attention paid to the final pinion angle. It is also about 1 1/2" wider than a late Ranger axle so it could possibly cause more fender interference with large tires.

This sale is for brackets only. Buying a pair of Lincon rotors and Caddy calipers.. Lines.. E-brake cable fitment..
I went local to SSBC myself. Everything fit and I had a source of Knowledge to tap into with a phone call.
RWenzinger did this but made his own brackets.

Harry's U Pull It in Hazleton PA and EZ Pull in New Ringgold PA have them for 100 bucks disc to disc. Everything they carry including motors is less than 100 bucks. Man i miss livin there. I think you would be better off with the exploder axle. 28 spline verse 31 spline. Its stronger overall.
