grinding going into gear

On my new ranger, when shifting into 3rd and 4th I'm getting grinding but it goes into gear, 1st, 2nd, 5th and reverse no grinding at all, I opened the inspection rubber and the throw out bearing looks like it's getting plenty of travel when the clutch is pushed in, 1/2" at least..

checked the tranny fluid and it's a little over full, fluid is nice and bright red, no shavings on the magnet.

am I looking at syncro's?
