Problems bleeding clutch-HELP
 

I know that this have been covered before, But I've been searching for a bit now and I'm just looking for a bit of clarification. So I just replaced the master and the slave cylinder. I bled them by the manual, gravity, then close valve, depress open, close and pump five times. I do all this and the pedal hits the floor-no pressure at all. I think my problem is in the master, tommorow Im going to unbolt it, tilt it up and let the air go out hopefully. I also read somewhere else that to purge the air out of the slave I need to depress it fully with a pry bar then open the valve, and press the clutch. The slave isnt leaking, and neither is the master, both are new and since neither are leaking I cant see them being defective.

Whenever I blled these systems I use vaccum hose that fits snugly over the bleeder screw and run it into the reservoir. I think it's about 30-36 inches long or so. Then I just make sure the reservoir does'nt run dry and have an assistant pump the pedal (slow at first and then rapidly) as I'm under the truck opening and closing the bleeder screw. This method has worked for me everytime.

I've tried the bench bleed method, gravity method, pump screw and tighten method, and this one seems to work the best for me.

Thanks for your reply although, I havent been on since I fixed it this afternoon. I unbloted the master, tipped it as high as i could and had someone hold it while I pumped it from inside. I had to do it twice though, the first time I did it worked halfway. Then after doing ita second time I could pump it at all without the pedal. Now it shifts smoother than ever b efore!
