Do you know what your stock ratio is? If not look on the drivers door sticker where it says "AXL" or "AXLE". Post that information up and then I can better tell you want gearing to get.

I would recommend 4.88 gears for 37's. Depending on what your engine size is, I could also say 5.13 gears.

37s I would run 4.88s or 5.13s but thats just for everyday driving, I don't know what you need for bogging.

Dang Maurice beat me but at least i was right!

5.13 gears is the lowest gear ratio made for the 8.8 axle. If he has the 7.5, it is 4.56 gears.

Going by your user name, I would say you have a 4.0 in your Ranger. If you do, then you have the 8.8 rear end and 5.13 is the lowest gearing you can get.

BTW Trent, the 5.13's are not offered in the front of the '98+ Ranger; 4.88 is the lowest for the front of '98+ Rangers.
