How can I find out the ratio of my 2003 4 banger rearend? I crawled under and the tag gave some numbers but didnt say a ratio.

 

post up the numbers and we can tell you what you have

 

Your tag will have numbers & letters:

Example: V 683 B
3.45 7.5

Definition: V 683 B is the axle code that Ford would use to order a NEW rearend assy.................3.45 is gear ratio..............7.5 is the rearend size or could have 3.73 / 4.10 ratios and 8.8 for rearend size.
