Re-gearing Dana 35 SLA?

Just curious what all has to get taken off my truck to gain access to the Dana 35 differential cover in order to re-gear my front differential and how labor intensive would this be? Truck is a 2008 Sport 4x4.

you actually have to remove the diff entirely to regear the front. it involves removing the CV shafts and un bolting the diff and lowering it out of the vehicle. its not very hard to do but does take some time.

4.10 gears would be nice with 31's, I think. 3.73's aren't really that good in my opinion even with 30's, and they aren't really that big either lol.

I currently have 3.73 gears and was actually thinking of going to 4.56's. Do the torsion bars need to be unloaded to remove the front differential?

Unloaded safely yes, but removed no.
