ATLAS vs STaK

well they are basically competitors. If I remember correctly both are based off of a D300 tcase. I just like the Stak, when I was looking at it and I cant really remember why now.
i dont really think one is better than the other in certain situations. Its just how each are built. IMO you get more for your money with the Stak

yes ! but only stak offers the transfer case mounted parking brake
it is a big plus for jeepers
even better for ranger owners , no messing with trying to fit or find calipers with the built in parking brake feature
1 cable to the transfer case mounted caliper and that is it.
plus with the stak case , you have 3 speeds not 2 , and their cases are a lot thicker than the atlas cases ( some models - not all of them )

This is almost like a locker debate ... Ask 5 people get 5 different answers on which one's better.
I think the Atlas is ok, not had a chance to abuse one too much yet. It held up to what was asked of it in Moab in the rocks and trails, but didn't get to push it very hard, no one else wanted to play in the big stuff so we didn't venture out too far from the group.
I would like to get ahold of a stak and try one out just to compare but I'm not sold on either one at this point.
