rear end help

I want to get a limited slip for my rear end but i dont know what i have i think its a ford 8.8 28 spline??? and what gears i have My truck is a 2001 xlt 4x4 offroad with a 4.0

you have a 8.8 28 spline axle.....gears dont matter when getting a l/s unit..

stock l/s is best for daily driving......I got a Ford Racing unit from Summit for $225 delivered last winter
