Rear End Question

1999 Ranger

1999 Expo 5.0 motor

with the 8.8 Expo rear end with Discs, how does the speedo work then?

right now does the speed come from the abs unit in the rear?

from searching around on TRS

98-2000 doesn't have the VSS, so it comes from the rear end.

but i'm not 100% sure about the explorer 8.8 if its the same.
