Why even bother making a totally stupid post. You either know the answer to my question or you don't. If you don't know the answer don't post.

I don't know I bother anymore.
It wasn’t stupid I asked a legitimate question what’s going wrong with your stock one's now, I honestly wanted to know being you have 35's. it was a real question that pertained to YOUR CV shafts. Thus why idk what your problem is....

here is some "contrubiting" that you dont think i do, yes you can have your own thread locked PM a mod that is on go to the Forum page and you can see if anyone is on. Jason does it all the time for me. just tell them your done with it and they lock it...

I ignored that question because it doesn't matter. There is nothing wrong with my axels I just want to change them. thats all.

My problem is rather then help you tell me to pick up the phone and call pepboys. Thats not helping and its not anwsering my question so its not needed. Why do you have to be such a dick all the time ?

finally it took you 6 post but you finally said something helpful. Even though I already knew that and have sent out a PM but good try.

but maybe its just me

edit: maybe you could do me a favour and keep you "light hearted" comments out of my threads because i don't care for them.

Sometimes the board gets cluttered with stuff like this. Like for example, the guy asking about how to take his bedgate off. We should already know that, I mean ****, look in ur manual if u want.

If you get new axles you should do one of two things.

A) install new axles, keep old ones as spares in bed of truck with boots and whatnot.

B) keep old axles in, new ones as spares in bed with boots and whatnot.

No reason to replace a working part...

How do you say it?

If it aint broke you're not trying hard enough.

and if that was all you said was "hey how come you are replacing them" I would have responded. Honestly I stopped reading you post at "ever think of picking up the phone". I figured it stated out trash so the rest of the post must be. that was why I never responded to your question, I never read it ! if you are going to start off with BS I assume your whole post is going to be BS so I stopped reading it.

Honestly if that was all you would have said "hey how come you are replacing them". I would have said I am replacing them because i want to put new ones in before these break. I am smart enough to know that I have been wheeling on them for 2 years and have had the 35's on them for a year and I am going to be in there changing the gears out so I might as well. I didn't think they were much money. So I was just trying to figure out how much they were and if its really worth while.

I am changing them two words "preventive maintenance".

Aren't axles an "all or nothing" break? If you're gonna break your axle shafts its not gonna be cause of age, its going to be a sudden thing you did. Like instand traction while spinning at 40. At the very least, keep the spares!

CV shafts arnt a solid axle they have joints in them that let them move in different angles so they can "wear" out before they brake
