transmission????
ok, I am having a little problem with my truck. The truck from idle runs out fine, but shifting into third is a little ruff. The tranny is an automatic. It didnt start doing it till about a month and a half after I owned it. I bought the truck used with 62,000 miles on it, and I have had the truck almost a year and have only put 7,000 on it. Dosent matter if your easy on the gas or have your foot into it, it always does it, what could it be? Also, recentle I have noticed, when pulling up to a stop sign, it acts like it is going to die. It stutters and then it will pick the rpm's back up and be fine. Any idea's?

How does the fluid look? You may be dealing with more than one problem. I have seen a couple of trucks with a torque converter still partially locked when coming to a stop. That would cause your idle to drop till the iac had a chance to catch up. The two cases I saw the torque converter would unlock from the strain put on it by the motor when it was idling up. Most of the time though a locked up torque converter will cause your engine to stall. You might try driving it without o/d on to see if the problem gets better, or goes away. Is there any noise from the trans?
