Icon4 Steering clicking

A few days ago I ran out of gas and had to make a sharp turn with the engine off to get off of the road. Now whenever I turn sharp I feel but not hear a clicking like its the 4wd. So I put it in 4low and put it back in 2wd while in neutral then put it in reverse and got on it a little bit.It still makes the clicking. So I checked the power steering fluid level, Its still good. I'm really at a loss for words now.

Welcome to the forum

4WD shouldn't "click"?

Start engine and turn wheels lock to lock 3 or 4 times
When engine is off, power steering pump is off, if you turn the wheels at that time you can get air in the system.
You are try to clear any air from the system

It did end up being the 4wd. I put it on jack stands then put it in drive and all 4 wheels started spinning so I manually pulled it out of 4wd. It doesnt click anymore. When your in 4wd and you make a sharp turn it will click because the cv's are'nt meant to run at that kind of steering angle. Also why you have a larger turning radius whilst in 4wd.
