Strange Question about my Auto Shift Lever

Hey guys I have a weird question. My dog got the bright idea of chewing on the column shifter when he was a puppy. I never got around to replacing it, and now I'm looking into it. How do I do it? I can't find anything on it. I have a 3.0 auto and it has the click overdrive button on the end which is now toasted. Is there a way to get a replacement that just threads on to the shifter? I'm stumped.

Never done one, but I can't imagine it would be much harder than changing out a turn signal lever. Take off the trim pieces on the steering column.. it's probly just held on by a couple bolts or screws or something.
