Stuck in “limp mode” plus 5 codes

I have a 04 4x4, 4.0, auto ranger that I use as a woods truck, so I accidentally cut the output speed sensor wiring while trying to cut the back license plate light wiring. Ever since the truck has been in limp mode, I get 5 codes come up ( P0743, P0750, P0755, P0760 and P0765) which are all the shift solenoids and the torque converter electrical. Since I have rewired the pigtail but it still isn’t coming out of limp mode and shifts pretty poorly. Anyone have any idea if it might just be a dirty sensor/bad pigtail or if there might be other things to try.

Edit: I have also had the battery out trying to reset the truck but to no success, the truck will only rev to about 1500rpm In drive or reverse but revs just fine in park or neutral, but it shifts into reverse pretty hard. Before the sensor was cut I had no issues at all, cut the wire and shut the truck off, went to pull my buddies truck out a few minutes later and o/d light flashes, had those 5 codes, shifts hard, etc

Welcome to the forum

You can look up Ford codes here: https://therangerstation.com/tech_li...II_codes.shtml

Its always proper to list code with definitions since you are ready looked then up, lol
No one knows them by heart
P0743 Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Electrical
P0750 Shift Solenoid A Malfunction
P0755 Shift Solenoid B Malfunction
P0760 Shift Solenoid C Malfunction
P0765 Shift Solenoid D Malfunction

These are all "malfunction" or "circuit" codes, which means wiring problem, or no voltage

In 2004 these solenoids all share one 12v wire, from fuse 41 in engine bay fuse box, check that fuse, 15amp, key on power

Then pull the 16 pin connector on the transmission, test the 3 Light blue/orange stripe wires, they all get their 12v from fuse 41

Pins 1, 10, and 11 should have 12v, key on, from fuse 41, as seen here: https://www.explorerforum.com/forums...lug-jpg.70049/

Yes, computer would be in safe or limp mode with no connection to transmission, which is what you show with those codes, you would get the same codes if you unplugged the 16 pin connector and drove the vehicle
