Well I ordered a LUK clutch kit just now since the slave crapped out this morning. I had to pour fluid in and pump the hell out of it to get going. Stupid Centerforce and Stupid Ford. And yes I have been easy on my truck. Hell it lasted longer when I beat the crap out of it so maybe I should do it again. /End rant.

So anyone think I should change the master? I changed it last year along with everything else except the clutch line. What about the actual line from the master to the slave?

Well I have noticed that the Centerforce kit is too grabby. It also hates being slipped. I wanted to go Spec this time but I really don't have the money right now so I said why not try Luk.

Do you see fluid leaking ever? I'd realy suggest that you get it pressure bleed. It just sounds weird that it would happen one day and not the next.

Today I did see a small puddle under the truck. I'm just going to replace everything again and cross my fingers.

Ah well that blows. I really wish they made something better than the one that we had stock. They are a very common failure point on these trucks.

I didn't know when I bought it 4 years ago. I regret not getting auto. Well it was sued anyway.

Well my clutch kit LUK clutch kit showed up today. I'm impressed.

My Centerforce kit never came with documentation like this:

I have a feeling I'll be seeing this a hole next year:

I'm happy with my purchase from Clutch City Online. $310 shipped to my door. I ordered on Tuesday and got it on Thursday. Centerforce was $400 plus shipping and didn't come with bearings or a slave cylinder. I wanted Spec but I could only afford this right now.

My dad's mechanic is going to charge me $250 to do the install. I am also having him seal up the leak from the extension housing. Not bad but still a waste of money since it will do it to me again next year. Stupid POS trans.
