Slave Cylinder !!!HELP!!!!!!
oK so according to most of u u guys said my problem i was having was my slace cylinder so im going to be getting that in the mail soon.Can any one help me on how to change it like step by step..maybe some tips from things that are hard or problems u incountered before to watch out for etc.like im a little confused on the ""bleeding "" thing my says he knows but he wont be able to help me on it for another 2 weeks.i reallly want to change it and get it over with so pleasehelp.and i know i have to drop the trany so do u think wall i have it out i should replace the clutch or clutch disk?pls help thanks!
oh if it helps i have a 2002 single cab 2wd ranger.i dont know if it makes a difference.but it might.

You will have to pull the transmission to change it because the slave cylinder is on the inside of the bell housing. It's a lot of work to change such a simple and failure-prone part, so it would probably be best for you to change your clutch out with it. If you're unsure of how to do it, pick up a Haynes manual for your truck from your local autozone, advance auto, oriely's, etc. and look over the process. They book is probably about 15 dollars and will be invaluable to you during the time you own your ranger.
