it won't work unless you are staying stock height. the explorer axle mounts on top of the springs, where as a ranger axle mounts below. the flip kit puts the ranger axle on top of the springs. so if you used the flip kit with an explorer axle, it would put the ex axle under the spring, or stock height.

i got ya. yeah, to stay stock height, it would work perfect. i don't see why you couldn't run the blocks. i just pulled the rear out of my 93 that is lowered with the flip kit and 2" block. would be the same setup, just opposite. make sure you get the bigger u-bolts as the ex axle is larger than the ranger.

It will not work for the Expo axel because the outer tube are a larger diameter.

looks like it has the spring over perches on it to.....why the hell to still have it mounted spring under then? also i know all the parts i need i was just wondering if i could use the flip kit. also the flip kit would make every thing directly above the stock perches on the expo axle (theoretically if i was to get a flip kit that worked or ground down the ranger one)...so does that mean that the new perches need to be welded directly above the stock ones?
