Okay so funds are low for the Ranger after my recently completed Cab and axle swap and all the other parts that went into it. And now of course my torque converter clutch is going out and yes I already swapped solenoids with no relief. But I have the torque converter from the donor truck, which was a 2001 3.0 and with very recently rebuilt transmission. For the time being, would it be compatible with my 99' 5R55E? Im not sure of the actual transmission code but the case looked identical to my 5r55e. Do the torque converters change between 5r and 4rs? Or 55's and 44's? That's basically my question haha. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
