Towing Tips
Ensure the brake lights, taillights and turn indicators of the towed car operate in sync with the vehicle being driven. It is a requirement in all 50 states. You must use brake/sign light accent kits, which are strapped or magnetically connected to the rear of the car being towed.
Like everyone else I would say tow it with the land cruiser. Why go through the trouble and risk hurting your ranger. If you want to tow it the 10 miles to the lake and back I don't think you would have any trouble. Especially launching it with a 4x4.
I have a 2008 20 ft. Tige and these new ski boats are heavy. If you look at my sig you can see it connected to my truck. I towed it around the block just for fun and that thing is heavy. We use your F-150 with the 5.4 V8 and honestly even that struggles over our 400 mile desert drives. Be smart, use the land cruiser for the long hauls.
