Tranfer case noise.

When i have my truck in 4 lo the transfer case makes this noise like metal sliding or grinding on each other. Anyone ever heard of it? I was wandering how you change the oil in the transfer case b/c im thinking this may be the problem.

Take off the black round thing on the back of the t case. Then unscrew the drain plug and let the oil run out. Then put the drain plug back in and unscrew the fill plug. The just fill it with the recommended fluid type and quantity. Then reinstall the fill plug and black thing. Done!

So, since your the mastermind behind the 1354 case, can you tell me how to fix the noise, or is there already a write up on it?
