Tranny Leaking - Need Urgent Help

Heys guys, my tranny is leaking from the pan area on the front lip. I'll give a low down on the service record and see if you guys know what can fix it.

08/06- Tranny flushed and changed at dealership
08/07 - Oil change and total vehicle inspection before school and the dealership that did the change notices a small leak from front of pan.
08/08 - Transmission pan gasket changed, pan inspected good, all other connections inspected good.
06/09- HUGE leak from transmission, dealership replaces gasket for free and fills transmission because they said the gasket failed before one year.
07/09 - Transmission leaks again, bring it back, they put dye in the tranny to find leak.
08/09 - Replace pan, Replace gasket, still leaks after one day. Bring it back and they put on what looks like JB Weld all over the front lip and dip stick tube. I drove home for the labor day weekend and it's still leaking.

I can't bring it into the stealership to have them "Try" to fix it again because they are closed all weekend. The front lip of it looks bent in about 3-4 places, could this be from them trying to remove the pan the first time? I'm trying everything I can do to make them fix it but I can't leave my vehicle here during school as I need it for work/school. I'm debating if I take all the pictures and send it into their service manager and see what reply I get. I'll upload some pics of the leak in a bit and am just looking for any advice on how to stop the leak. Should I just JB weld the whole front where the pan is bent? Truck is 85k miles.

Another note is that it usually only leaks when my truck is parked nose down like in my avatar.

that's crap....that they just threw some sealant on it, instead of replacing a 150$ pan that they probabley screwed up. I would bet that they pryed the pan cover off, and ended up bending it, or gougeing the metal. Now it probabley leaks where they were prying on it. Is there any scratch marks, or screwdriver gouges that you can see? I bet that's what happened. Gotta love Ford Maintenance crews.

On the 3rd pic and 7th and 8th pic you can see where the pan mounts it looks bent. This is what I think they may have bent when taking off the pan. They did replace the pan at a 200 buck charge but I'm just wondering if I should seal those areas?

That looks like a 12 year old smeared some ultra grey on there. I'd demand the correct fix.

The dealership needs to fix it. Does it look like it is coming from the pan or somewhere else? It is hard to tell from the pictures. I could be coming from somewhere else and then dripping on the pan which is the lowest point. The connections for the lines could be leaking. A seal on the front or back of the trans. could be leaking. There are a lot of possibilities. A lot of times the pan looks like it is leaking when it really is something else.

It is coming from the pan. I ran a paper towel around the entire thing and the only fluid is coming from the pan. The dip-stick tube, though ugly, seems to not be leaking anymore. The sad fact is that I will not be able to get it into the dealership until December when I'm back in the area during the week when they are open. For the time being I put some high temp RTV sealant on the front lip where it is leaking and did find that the little gray patch was not settled on the metal and a lot of fluid would come from there. I could put a paper towel there and it was wicking the fluid through it.

On a side note, does anyone know who I contact about a dealership not doing "quality" work? The manager there is best buds with the guy I go through so no matter how upset I got with him, they aren't going to do anything. I don't want to get people fired, I just want my truck fixed.

dont worry about getting people fired or hurting someones feelings. cause really, your the one who is getting screwed/hurt. whats better, having your truck broke and not usable or getting what should have been done in the first place done right? if someone loses their job cause they are a hack thats their problem not yours. worry about yourself first.

be a man and stand up for yourself. your the customer and its your money they took. if they give you the run around, talk to the dealership manager then the dealership owner and if they wont help, then the bbb and call ford directly and file a complaint. generally if you threaten to go above someones head, they tend to be more then willing to help.
