Tranny problems
 

Hey guys, I'm new here. I've got an 02 ranger 2.3. That I'm working on with my son. Problem we are having is it goes into all gears just fine. EXCEPT reverse. When put into reverse it sets their and idles with no response. If you barely touch the gas, it engages harshly. What have I got going on guys? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
